The contract is not anticipated to be over $15,000, so interviews will be fine. The Louisville <br />City Attorney can provide some names of other attorneys. <br />Jeremy said he can also provide some other names. Two recommendations are that they will need to <br />understand real estate and where the affordable housing components fit in, and local governments, <br />someone responsive, and someone who has time. The attorney would be an expense <br />out of the LHA account. The hard work happens between the board, the commissioners, and the council. <br />Rod has the historical knowledge of all the properties, understands very quickly the pieces that would <br />save paying for additional legal time. Or you can go for a fresh set of eyes. The biggest work is the <br />vision and the commitment to permanent affordable housing in Louisville.
