<br />A Resolution Waiving Certain Fees and Making In-Kind Contributions to the Louisville Housing <br />Authority for Family Housing <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 22, SERIES 1996 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Louisville Housing Authority has proposed building 18-units of new housing for <br />low-income families in Louisville; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, housing costs and rents have risen in this region; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, many families with limited incomes have found it difficult to find housing in <br />Louisville; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there are many low-income families currently on the Housing Authority's waiting list; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there is a significant need for affordable, safe, and comfortable rental housing for <br />Louisville families; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the addition of this family housing would make a positive contribution to the City. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the ordinances establishing the service expansion fees, major thoroughfare fees, and use <br />tax on residential construction materials provided for waiver of these fees. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved, the City Council of the City of Louisville, Colorado, does <br />hereby approve of the following for Louisville Housing Authority's East Street Family Housing <br />Development. By this resolution the City of Louisville will, consistent with future budget appropriations: <br /> <br />· Waive the following fees and taxes for the project: <br /> <br />- Service Expansion Fee and the Thoroughfare Fees <br /> <br />- Use Tax on Residential Construction Material <br /> <br />· Make an in-kind contribution in the amount of the Pennit, Plan Check and Electrical, Plumhing, <br />Mechanical Fees for the Louisville Housing Authority's East Street Family Housing Development. <br /> <br />Pave East Street from the American Legion building past the site to the driveway at 333 East Street <br />including sidewalks on the west side and gutters on both. <br /> <br />Provide for the installation of a fire hydrant in order to meet fire protection needs. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of March, 1996. <br /> <br />-/(7)>1 D~ <br /> <br />Mayor Tom Davidson <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />~~~ <br /> <br />Dave Clabots, City Clerk <br />
