It is his belief the City has failed to represent the interest of Louisville
residents in cable and internet matters, through its long-time collusion with the Greater
Metro Telecommunications Consortium (GMTC) and Comcast Cable Television. He
had not heard from City officials concerning the renewal of the cable franchise. He felt
the Louisville officials have been silent on the move for GMTC to become private.
