He asked for public comment. <br /> PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> Mayor Muckle asked for public comments and closed the public hearing. <br /> COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> MOTION: Council member Loo moved to approve Resolution No. 34, Series 2012, a <br /> resolution designating the Allera house at 1005 LaFarge as an historic landmark. <br /> Seconded by Councilor member Jasiak. All in favor. <br /> RESOLUTION No. 25, SERIES 2012 — A RESOLUTION APPROVING A <br /> PRELIMINARY PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT (PUD) AND SPECIAL REVIEW <br /> USE (SRU) TO PERMIT THE CONSTRUCTION OF FIVE (5) BUILDINGS, THREE (3) <br /> OF WHICH WILL CONTAIN A TOTAL OF 180 APARTMENT UNITS AND <br /> STRUCTURED PARKING, AND TWO (2) OF WHICH WILL CONTAIN 10,000 <br /> SQUARE FEET OF RETAIL DEVELOPMENT, ON TRACT ONE OF THE LOUISVILLE <br /> NORTH, FILING 7 SUBDIVISION LOCATED AT 707 E. SOUTH BOULDER ROAD <br /> Mayor Muckle requested a staff presentation including the questions asked by Council <br /> at the previous meeting. <br /> City Attorney Light requested the City Council, by motion, include into the record of the <br /> proceeding the following documents: all the materials included in the City Council <br /> packet which includes the staff communication and all documents, all public comments <br /> received since the last meeting including the ones in the packet and the few placed at <br /> the Council's seats for the meeting. <br /> Mayor Muckle re-opened the public hearing. <br /> Mayor Muckle moved the Council include all the materials as requested by Attorney <br /> Light. Mayor Pro Tem Dalton seconded. All in favor. <br /> Planner II McMillan summarized the application was for a Special Review Use (SRU), <br /> Preliminary Planned Unit Development (PUD) and Preliminary Subdivision Plat to <br /> redevelop Tract One of the Louisville North Subdivision, 707 East South Boulder Road <br /> and if approved the applicant would have a year to come back with a final plan. <br /> Questions were asked of staff in preparation of this meeting. He addressed each one <br /> as follows: <br /> 1) Describe the residential apartment units and their associated density <br /> adjacent to the Safeway site. <br /> a. Portal Apartments (West) — 17.3 Units per acre; 3 stories in height <br />
