<br />~ <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1207 <br />SERIES 1995 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 9.46.010 AND 9.46.020 OF <br />THE LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE CONCERNING DAMAGE TO CITY <br />AND PRIVATE PROPERTY TO INCREASE THE THRESHOLD DAMAGE <br />AMOUNT. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an increase <br />the Louisville Municipal <br />offenses is warranted. <br /> <br />in the threshold amount as provided in <br />Code pertaining to property damage <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br /> <br />Section 1. Section 9.46.010 of the Louisville Municipal <br />Code is amended to read as follows (words to be deleted are <br />stricken through; words to be added are capitalized): <br /> <br />9.46.010 City property. <br /> <br />It shall be unlawful for any person to willfully, <br />maliciously, wantonly, negligently or in any manner <br />injure or destroy any property owned by the city where <br />such damage caused is valued at less than one FOUR <br />hundred dollars. <br /> <br />Section 2. Section 9.46.020 of the Louisville Municipal <br />Code is amended to read as follows (words to be deleted are <br />stricken through; words to be added are capitalized): <br /> <br />9.46.020 Private property. <br /> <br />It shall be unlawful for any person to willfully, <br />maliciously, wantonly, negligently or in any manner <br />injure or destroy any property belonging to any person <br />where such damage caused is valued at less than one FOUR <br />hundred dollars. <br /> <br />Section 3. Any person who violates any provision of this <br />Ordinance shall be punished by a fine of not more than $1,000 or by <br />imprisonment not to exceed 1 year or both such fine and <br />imprisonment. Each day during any portion of which any violation <br />of any provision of this ordinance is committed, continued, or <br />permitted by any such person shall be a separate offense. <br /> <br />Section 4. The City Council herewith finds, determines, <br />and declares that this ordinance is necessary for the preservation <br />of the public health and safety. <br /> <br />1 <br />
