Department of Planning and Building Safety
749 Main Street Louisville CO 80027 303.335.4592 www.louisvilleco.gov
MM
EMORANDU
To: Historic Preservation Commission Members
From:Department of Planning and Building Safety
Subject: 631 Johnson Pre-Filing Conference
Date: July 16, 2012
This item was first heard at the May 21, 2012 regular meeting. The applicant has
requested another pre-filing conference now that we have received the social
history from Bridget Bacon, included below.
631 Johnson Street is currently an unincorporated enclave within Louisville. It
has recently begun the annexation process to be brought into the City. Once the
annexation process in complete, the owners intend to apply for a demolition
permit. The current house was built in 1945, so demolition would trigger HPC
review. The lot will not be in the Old Town Overlay District upon annexation, so
landmark grants would not be available. The applicant is interested in the
opinion of the HPC regarding a possible expansion or full demolition and new
construction.
Current Photo
