<br />15.08.040 Violations and Penalties. <br /> <br />It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, or <br />corporation to erect, construct, enlarge, alter, repair, <br />move, improve, remove, convert or demolish, equip, use or <br />maintain any mechanical systems or equipment or cause or <br />permit the same to be done in violation of the provisions <br />of this chapter or the terms of the code adopted and <br />incorporated herein. Any person convicted of a violation <br />of any provision of this chapter or of the provisions of <br />the code adopted and incorporated herein shall be subject <br />to the penalty provided in Section 1.28.010. <br /> <br />Section 15. Section 15.08.050 of the Louisville Municipal <br />Code is hereby repealed and reenacted, with amendments, to read as <br />follows: <br /> <br />15.08.050 Appendices adopted. <br /> <br />Appendices A, B, C, and D to the Uniform Mechanical <br />Code are hereby specifically adopted. Any appendices not <br />listed above are not adopted. <br /> <br />Section 16. Section 15.12.010 of the Louisville Municipal <br />Code is hereby repealed and reenacted, with amendments, to read as <br />follows: <br /> <br />15.12.010 Adoption. <br /> <br />The Uniform Fire Code, 1994 Edition and the Uniform <br />Fire Code Standards, 1994 Edition, by the International <br />Conference of Building Officials, 5360 Workman Mill Road, <br />Whittier, California, 90601, and the Western Fire Chiefs <br />Association, 28924 Front Street, Suite 1907, Temecula, <br />California 92590, as published by the International Fire <br />Code Institute, 9300 Jollyville Road, Suite 105, Austin, <br />Texas 78759-7455, are hereby adopted by reference thereto <br />and incorporated into and made a part of the Louisville <br />Municipal Code. The purpose and subject matter of the <br />Uniform Fire Code and Standards include minimum standards <br />relating to the storage, handling, and use of hazardous <br />substances, materials and devices, and providing greater <br />safety and protection to the public from conditions <br />hazardous to life or property in the occupancy of <br />buildings or premises. Except as otherwise provided <br />herein, the Uniform Fire Code and Standards are adopted <br />in full, including the outline of contents, index, and <br />appendix. Any reference to the Uniform Fire Code within <br />this chapter shall be to the 1994 Edition of said Code. <br /> <br />10 <br />
