<br />through Friday, holidays excepted, at the office of the <br />building safety division. The city clerk shall at all <br />times maintain a reasonable supply of copies of the code <br />available for purchase by the public at a moderate price. <br /> <br />15.16.030 Violation and penalties. <br /> <br />It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, or <br />corporation to erect, construct, enlarge, alter, repair, <br />move, improve, remove, convert or demolish, equip, use, <br />occupy or maintain any building or structure or cause or <br />permit the same to be done in violation of the provisions <br />of this chapter or the terms of the code adopted and <br />incorporated herein. Any person convicted of a violation <br />of any provision of this chapter or of the provisions of <br />the code adopted and incorporated herein shall be subject <br />to the penalty provided in Section 1.28.010. <br /> <br />Section 21. Sections 15.52.010, 15.52.020. 15.52.030 and <br />15.52.040 of Chapter 15.52 of the Louisville Municipal Code are <br />hereby repealed in their entirety; Chapter 15.52 shall be reserved <br />for future use. <br /> <br />Section 22. Any person who violates any provision of this <br />Ordinance shall be punished by a fine of not more than $1,000 or by <br />imprisonment not to exceed 1 year or both such fine and <br />imprisonment. Each day during any portion of which any violation <br />of any provision of this ordinance is committed, continued, or <br />permitted by any such person shall be a separate offense. <br /> <br />Section 23. The City Council herewith finds, determines, <br />and declares that this ordinance is necessary for the preservation <br />of the public health and safety. <br /> <br />Section 24. If any portion of this ordinance is held to be <br />invalid for any reason, such decision shall not affect the validity <br />of the remaining portions of this ordinance. The City Council <br />hereby declares that it would have passed this ordinance and each <br />part hereof irrespective of the fact that anyone part be declared <br />invalid. <br /> <br />Section 25. The repeal or modification of any provision of <br />the Municipal Code of the City of Louisville by this ordinance <br />shall not release, extinguish, alter, modify, or change in whole or <br />in part any penalty, forfeiture, or liability, either civil or <br />criminal, which shall have been incurred under such provision, and <br />each provision shall be treated and held as still remaining in <br />force for the purpose of sustaining any and all proper actions, <br />suits, proceedings, and prosecutions for the enforcement of the <br />penalty, forfeiture, or liability, as well as for the purpose of <br /> <br />13 <br />
