<br /> <br />GA <br />OALS OF THE GREEMENT <br /> <br />VIII.It is the goal of the parties to ensure the continued provision of, and the expansion of, <br /> <br />affordable housing for the residents of Louisville; <br /> <br />IX.Louisville and LHA believe that BCHA has strongly demonstrated its capabilities in the <br /> <br />development, operation, maintenance, and management of affordable housing in the towns or <br />cities of Lafayette, Longmont, Louisville, Lyons, Nederland, Niwot, and Erie, and throughout <br />Boulder County; <br /> <br />X. <br /> <br />portfolio and budget will be best remedied through the acquisition by BCHA of all of <br />for integration into affordable housing portfolio, and that the consolidation of the two <br />authorities achieves a larger economy of scale, thereby strengthening the long-term viability of <br />affordable housing within Louisville and the region; <br /> <br />XI.The Parties intend to provide uninterrupted housing assistance and minimize disruption to <br /> <br />current LHA tenants during the implementation of this Agreement to the greatest extent <br />possible; <br /> <br />XII.The Parties recognize that the affordable housing needs of Louisville can best be m <br /> <br />means of this Agreement and that this Agreement is designed to promote broad cooperation <br />between the Parties on affordable housing issues; <br /> <br />XIII.It is the goal of the Parties that LHA be in a position to dissolve at the conclusion of the <br /> <br />transactions completed in this Agreement; <br /> <br />P,F,D <br />ROPERTIES UNDS AND EBT <br /> <br />XIV.For the purpose of providing affordable housing to the residents of the City of Louisville, <br /> <br />LHA is the owner of certain real property, more particularly described in the legal descriptions <br />attached hereto and incorporated by reference herein as Exhibit A (the <br />Exhibit B (the Exhibit C (the Property Exhibit D (the <br />are Property), Exhibit E and Exhibit F Hillside <br />Square Property (collectively, the LHA ; <br /> <br />XV.LHA maintains funds in several accounts on its books and on deposit with Wells Fargo <br /> <br />Bank, including a general operating funds account, account number 163-3967243 (the <br />; a security deposits account, account number 361-8283513 <br />2 <br /> <br /> <br />
