<br />ORDINANCE NO. 1182 <br />SERIES 1995 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE TO REVISE THE SPECIFIC POLLUTANT LIMITATION <br />FOR ZINC AS SET FORTH IN SECTION 13.32.120 OF THE CITY'S <br />SEWER USE REGULATIONS, CHAPTER 13.32 OF THE LOUISVILLE <br />MUNICIPAL CODE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the United States Environmental Protection Agency has <br />approved a modification in the City I S Industrial Pre-treatment <br />Program for a change to the local limit for zinc; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend the City I S sewer use <br />regulations in order to incorporate the change in the specific <br />pollutant limitation for zinc. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br /> <br />Section 1. The maximum concentration in mg/l for zinc as <br />listed in the table set forth in Section 13.32.120 of the <br />Louisville Municipal Code, is hereby revised as follows (maximum <br />concentration to be deleted is stricken through; revised maximum <br />concentration to be added is underlined): <br /> <br />Pollutant/Pollutant Property <br /> <br />Maximum Concentration in mg/1 <br /> <br />Zinc <br /> <br />0.13450 0.31310 <br /> <br />Section 2. Any person who violates any provision of this <br />Ordinance shall be subject to the penalties as provided in Section <br />13.32.130 and Section 13.32.150 of the Louisville Municipal Code. <br /> <br />Section 3. This ordinance is deemed necessary for the <br />protection of the health, safety and welfare of the community. <br /> <br />Section 4. If any portion of this ordinance is held to be <br />invalid for any reason, such decision shall not affect the validity <br />of the remaining portions of this ordinance. The City Council <br />hereby declares that it would have passed this ordinance and each <br />part hereof irrespective of the fact that anyone part be declared <br />invalid. <br /> <br />1 <br />
