<br />City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />December 6, 2005 <br />Page 4 of 16 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE No. 1480, Series 2005 - AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE <br />VACATION OF A 5,028 SQUARE FOOT EASEMENT LOCATED IN THE <br />HEALTH PARK SUBDIVISION FILING NO.6 SUBDIVISION IN THE CITY OF <br />LOUISVILLE - 2nd reading - public hearing (advertised Daily Camera <br />11/26/05) <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk requested a City Attorney introduction. <br /> <br />City Attorney Light read Ordinance No. 1480, Series 2005. <br /> <br />Council member Sackett recused himself from this matter and disclosed his son <br />is the CEO of Avista Hospital. <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk also recused himself from this agenda item and disclosed his wife is <br />on the Avista Hospital Board of Director. Both Council member Sackett and <br />Mayor Sisk left the room. <br /> <br />Mayor Pro Tem Brown requested a Staff presentation. <br /> <br />Planning Director Wood explained the applicant, Portercare Adventist Health <br />System and Avista Hospital, received City Council approval of Resolution No. 49, <br />Series 2005 last month authorizing a subdivision replat of the Health Park <br />Subdivision as Filing No.7. In conjunction with this request the applicant is <br />requesting the City vacate its interest in an existing 25' utility easement which <br />was conveyed by Health Park Subdivision, Filing No.6. The easement is located <br />on Lot 2 of the Health Park Subdivision, Filing No.6, and is 5,028 square feet in <br />area. The City has no objection to the vacation of this easement. <br /> <br />Mayor Pro Tem Brown requested public comments, and hearing none requested <br />Council comments. There were no comments. <br /> <br />MOTION: Council member Marsella moved for Council approval of Ordinance <br />No. 1480, Series 2005, seconded by Council member Clabots. Roll call vote was <br />taken. The motion carried by a vote of 5-0. Recused: Mayor Sisk and Council <br />member Sackett. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE No. 1481, SERIES 2005 - AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 5 <br />OF THE LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE TO ADD A NEW CHAPTER 5.06 <br />REGARDING THE REGULATION OF VENDORS, SOLICITORS AND <br />PEDDLERS CONDUCTING BUSINESS IN THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE - 2nd <br />reading - public hearing (advertised Daily Camera 11/26105) <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk requested a City Attorney introduction. <br /> <br />City Attorney Light read Ordinance No. 1481, Series 2005. <br />
