Every <br />Friday night from 7:00 -10:30 PM, we'll have interactive, <br />supervised sports tournaments, swimming, a different in- <br />flatable each Nite, DJ music, concessions and more The <br />cost is still just $10 per participant. Presented in association with the Louisville Public <br />Library's "On the Same Page" program. Randy Moore, <br />professional actor with Stories on Stage, will read a <br />45- minute excerpt from this true story followed by a <br />public discussion. <br />The event is FREE, September 30th at the Louisville <br />Center for the Arts (801 Grant Avenue), 7:30 PM. Re- <br />freshments will be served. For more infromation, please <br />visit http:/ /storiesonstage.org /. <br />SOCCER <br />YOUTH <br />The Recreation Center continues to <br />develop one of the best youth recre- <br />ational soccer programs in the state by updat- <br />ing the format to allow kids to play with those <br />more compatible in age. Stressing participation, <br />development of skills and enjoyment, boys and <br />girls ages 5 -13 are encouraged to get involved. <br />Practices are held twice each week with games on Satur- <br />days. Ages and division are determined by birthdate. Registra- <br />tion is already underway, practices begin August 22. <br />PEEWEE <br />Designed to teach the very basics of soccer to your 4 -5 <br />year old, this program will kick -start your young- <br />ster into soccer frolic and fun. An introduction to soccer <br />basics and FUN will be stressed during this program. The <br />first several weeks will be dedicated to practices and skill <br />development. The remaining weeks we play exhibition games <br />and have a blast. This is a four -week program beginning the <br />week of September 12th. Classes are held on either Monday/ <br />Wednesday or Tuesday /Thursday. <br />ITTY BITTY <br />This class is designed to introduce your 3 or 4 year <br />old to the very basics of soccer while also developing <br />social skills with kids of the same age.
