Recommendation to City Council on representative and alternate for Boulder County Housing and <br />Human Services Advisory Board <br />At the last meeting, the Board discussed the importance of recommending to City Council that a current <br />LHA Commissioner serve on the Boulder County Housing and Human Services Advisory Board to provide <br />continuity through the transition of BCHA and LHA as outlined in the IGA. The Board discussed Kelly <br />Campbell and Ernest Villany as two possible representatives to the Advisory Board. The two proposed <br />representatives agreed that they would work with the Board Chair and determine who should be nominated <br />as the representative, and who as the alternate. Staff is asking the Board to take action on recommending to <br />City Council a representative and alternate at the September meeting. <br />Annual Plan Update <br />Every year, LHA submits our required Annual Plan to HUD. The plan requires review by the Resident <br />Advisory Board for public housing (in our case, we invite all Hillside residents), and a public comment <br />period. We will be conducting that process prior to the next Board meeting, when we anticipate seeking the <br />Board's approval of the plan. The draft plan is attached, if the Board would like to provide feedback prior to <br />resident and public comment periods. <br />Financial Statements <br />August Financial Statements - see attached <br />Property Management update <br />We have three vacancies at Lydia Morgan, two of which are tentatively spoken for. We are actively <br />marketing the third.
