<br />RESOLUTION NO. 59, SERIES 1995 <br /> <br />A Resolution to Amend the Agreement Regarding the Design and Implementation of <br />Improvements on Coal Creek <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Louisville entered into the 1988 contract, Agreement No. 88-11.06, <br />with Boulder County and the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District (UD); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Agreement No. 88-11.06 specified the obligations of each party regarding Coal <br />Creek Trail construction; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in 1994 the City of Louisville, Boulder County and the UD amended the Coal <br />Creek Trail agreement to expand the scope of work to be undertaken; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Coal Creek Trail adds to the quality of life in Louisville; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, completing work on the trail below the Burlington Northern Railroad would add <br />to the continuity of this regional trail system; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the flood mitigation work associated with the proposed trail work would reduce <br />the flood hazard in Louisville. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved, the City Council of Louisville, Colorado, does hereby <br />approve Agreement No. 88-11.06B and authorizes the Mayor to enter into such contract with <br />Boulder County and the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 17th day of October, 1995. <br /> <br />~!~ <br />"- v ~ <br />Mayo Tom DaVIdson <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />
