Jeff suggested that the City could offer to plant native shrubs as a buffer between the trail and the back yards of interested <br />residents. <br />110 <br />None. <br />• <br />Updates from the Board <br />Updates from Staff <br />Jeff Moline stated that the Historic Grant application for the Lastoka property is being submitted by the County. They would <br />like a letter of support from the Board. Jeff said he would draft a letter and have Bob Muckel edit the letter and sign it. <br />The Board agreed to that arrangement. <br />Agenda items <br />Review Open Space Rules and Regulations: Jeff Moline presented the edits that were made from comments made at the last <br />meeting. <br />Additional comments include: <br />section I. should change to "during closed hours" <br />section R. Make sure City Attorney looks at this section <br />section M. Remove "To" at the start of the paragraph <br />sections A -E. Make the "consent" statement consistent throughout the document. Use section C. as the template. <br />In general, define who the "Director" is. <br />Wayne Varra stated that he would like to see hunting allowed on some of Boulder County Open Space. He understands that <br />Louisville doesn't have large enough tracts to support hunting, but the thinks the County should consider it. <br />Wayne Varra made a motion to accept the Open Space Rules and Regulations with the above mentioned changes. <br />Michael Gheleta seconded the motion. Board all in favor. <br />Public comment on items on agenda <br />None. <br />Adjournment <br />Meeting adjourned at 8:20 p.m. <br />The next meeting agenda items: Review Historic Grant support letter for the Lastoka property <br />The next meeting of the Louisville Open Space Citizens Advisory Board will be held on September 27, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. at <br />the Louisville Rec Center conference room. <br />
