2. Prairie dog trapping will happen on the Davidson Mesa and Warembourg properties in <br />order to maintain the 100 foot buffers called for in the Management Plan. The prairie <br />dogs will be euthanized and donated to one of the raptor rehabilitation organizations. <br />3. Engineering drawings for the trailhead kiosks are complete and undergoing review by <br />various city staff. <br />4. Grade work on the Callahan trail is almost done and the concrete work is expected to <br />be done by year end. <br />5. The City has begun design planning for the renovation of the jointly owned <br />Warembourg property. <br />6. As follow -up to the Board's concerns about the crosswalk at Washington and <br />McCaslin, Mr. Moline reviewed the results of a 2004 traffic study. The study noted that <br />eight conditions are triggers for consideration of traffic control. The intersection at <br />Washington and McCaslin meet none of the considerations. Given that this intersection <br />is an important connecting point between two open space parcels (Davidson Mesa and <br />Harper Lake,) Pat Hornbostel recommended referring the issue to city council to consider <br />in a working session. <br />7.
