• <br />• <br />Louisville Open Space Citizens Advisory Board Meeting <br />7:00 p.m. <br />Monday, November 3, 2003 <br />Louisville Public Library <br />950 Spruce <br />Louisville, CO 80027 <br />Attendance: Matt Jones, Gary Mansdorfer, Bob Muckle, Heidi Ochis Cary Tengler, <br />Bill Van Orman, Wayne Varra <br />2 <br />Also in attendance: Cindy Lair, City Staff <br />Matt Jones called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />October 20, 2003 minutes were passed, 7 -0, with changes. <br />Motions and recommendations made during the November 3rd meeting <br />1. Bob Muckle moved that the Louisville Open Space Citizens Advisory Board <br />recommend perimeter trail Option 1 a for the Davidson Mesa, which includes the <br />existing dog run, and to investigate additional access points to the trail. Wayne <br />Varra seconded. The motion passed 6 -1. <br />2. Matt Jones moved that the Louisville Open Space Citizens Advisory Board <br />recommend the use of improved directional an dinterpretive sighns on the <br />Davidson Mesa. Heidi Ochis seconded. The motion passed 7 -0. <br />3. Wayne Varra moved that the Louisville Open Space Citizens Advisory Board <br />recommend the establishment of a plan of action and budget for the reclamation <br />of the Preserve section in the northwest corner of the Davidson Mesa. Heidi <br />Ochis seconded. The motion passed 6 -1. <br />Updates from Board <br />Bob Muckle complimented Cindy Lair and her staff on the work that has gone into the <br />Open Space plan. <br />Matt Jones noted that a planning session for jointly held Open Space properties would be <br />held in Lafayette in the Lafayette Council Chambers on Thursday, November 13, 2003. <br />Updates from Staff <br />Cindy Lair noted that the Fishing is Fun Pond is now full. The pond will not be stock <br />with fish until the spring of 2004. <br />
