Louisville Open Space Citizens Advisory Board Meeting 6:45 p.m. Monday, Sept. 11, 2000 Louisville Recreation Center 700 W Via Appia Louisville, CO 80027 7:00 Meeting Attendance: Matt Jones, Pat Hornbostel, Heidi Ochis, Bill Van Orman, Susan Remington Also in attendance: Steve Baysinger, City Staff, Eric Stone, Prairie Dog consulting biologist to Louisville, Melanie Muckle, Chip Heldman, Caryl Shields, Jean Morgan, Bill Eeds, Jim Cummings (and others that did not sign in), Louisville. Minutes Matt Jones called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. and called for any corrections to the Aug.21 st minutes. Add locations that were visited on the site visit: Warembourg (along 96th and along the Coal Creek Trail off W. Cherry Street) and Davidson Mesa. Correction: First sentence under Minutes should read: ... any corrections to the July 10th minutes. Matt Jones moved to adopt the minutes as amended, seconded by Pat Hornbostel. All in favor. Matters From Staff Steve Baysinger addressed weed control issues. Cindy Owsley, Boulder County Parks and Open Space weed specialist wrote a memo on Noxious Weed Management on Louisville Open Space. Steve will try to apply a budget to the management suggestions made in the memo. Steve Baysinger also met with Dave Webber, Colorado Division of Wildlife to get an estimate on the amount of Purple Loosestrife in Louisville. A total of 42 plants were found in the survey.
