that the Department of Land Management will be developing a site, HFAB information
should be included in that site's information. It is doubtful that we will have time in the
October meeting to begin the requirements process. This has been tabled.
Proposed Police Station
The Site Plan is due out in the next two weeks. This plan will include the Rec Center
proposed changes, the Police Station and the arboretum. The city courts may also move
to the proposed police station. The station is also being redesigned as a one -story
building.
Via Appia Signage - October Meeting
Denver Botanic Gardens Classes
Betty Solek proposed two September classes for HFAB via e -mail prior to the meeting:
Colorado's Champion Trees and a Regis University Arboretum tree tour. Many members
desired to attend. Unfortunately, on 9/12 the Champion Trees class was cancelled due to
low enrollment. The Arboretum tour is filling up and is good to go on Saturday, 9/28.
Work Session(s)
None planned in September meeting.
Adjournment
7:10 PM
