LOUISVILLE HORTICULTURE FORESTRY ADVISORY BOARD <br />MINUTES OF BORAD MEETING <br />June 7, 2000 <br />• Members Present: Howard Teague, Jerry Warren, Betty Solek, Susan Spaulding, Susan <br />Ariniello and David Russell <br />City Liaisons Present: Steve Baysinger, and Dave Sexton <br />Members Absent: Nanette Edwards <br />City Liaison Absent: Brad Chronowski <br />A. General <br />1. Howard called the meeting to order and May minutes were approved. <br />2. Entry way — discussed sandblasting both sides if it is affordable. <br />3. Parking lot — Need to wait until we find out if the City is buying the adjacent land before <br />determining location. <br />4. RFP Process — Dave discussed inventory possibilities for companies. He handed out <br />draft RFP packet for member review. Susan will be involved in reviewing. Anyone else <br />wishing to be involved in interviews needs to contact Dave. <br />• 5. Discussion of By-laws. Terms will be changed to 4 — Two year terms, 3 — Four year <br />terms. In January, Board will elect a Recorder and Chair, both positions will be held for <br />one year. For the remainder of this year, Susan Ariniello will hold the position of <br />recorder. The Board nominated a sub committee to discuss the By -laws that will consist <br />of Susan Spaulding, Betty Solek and Dave Sexton. <br />6. Steve updated the Board on the Cherry Street Median project. He also discussed the <br />rocks on Cherry Street. He will inform the members when the rock is down for review. <br />The 2001 budget will include landscaping South Boulder Road east of Highway 42 and <br />the entryway at Highway 42 by the cemetery. <br />7. There will be no July meeting, therefore, the next meeting will be held on Wednesday, <br />August 2, 2000. <br />
