<br />RESOLUTION NO. 42 <br />SERIES 1995 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, <br />COLORADO, FINDING SUBSTANTIAL COMPLIANCE OF A PETITION FOR <br />ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY FILED BY BELLOCK CONSTRUCTION <br />COMPANIES KNOWN AS STERLING HEIGHTS, THE SETTING OF A PUBLIC <br />HEARING THEREON <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a petition for annexation of certain property, to be known as the Sterling <br />Heights Annexation, has been filed with the City Council of the City of Louisville; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the petition; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the area proposed for annexation is owned by Boulder County and is not <br />solely a public street or right-of-way;and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council desires to adopt by Resolution its findings in regard to the <br />petition; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City Of <br />Louisville, Colorado: <br /> <br />Section 1 - The annexation petition attached hereto is in substantial compliance with the <br />applicable laws of the State of Colorado. <br /> <br />Section 2 - No election is required under Section 31-12-107(2), C.R.S. <br /> <br />Se-ction :1 - No additional terms and conditions are to be imposed except any provided for <br />in the petition. <br /> <br />Section 4 - The City Council will hold a public hearing for the purpose of determining if <br />the proposed annexation complies with Section 31-12-104, c.R.S. and with Section 31-12-105, <br />C.R.S., as applicable, and will hold a public hearing to determine the appropriate zoning of the <br />subject property if requested in the petition, at the Louisville City Council Chambers, 749 Main <br />St., Louisville, Colorado 80027, on August 15, 1995 at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Section S - The City Clerk is authorized to give all notices as required by law. Any person <br />may appear at such hearing and present evidence relative to the proposed annexation, or the <br />proposed zoning if requested in the petition. <br />
