<br />Revitalization Commission <br />Minutes <br />DATE <br />Page 2 of 3 <br />3. Resolution No. 06-011 - The Commission unanimously approved <br />Resolution No. 06-011 designating the place for posting of notices of <br />meetings of the Board of Commissioners of the Louisville Revitalization <br />Commission. <br />4. Planning Department Update on Mixed Use Zoning and Design <br />Guidelines for the Hi!ghway 42 Area - the Commission discussed the <br />recent Planning Commission meeting on the mixed use zoning and <br />design guidelines for the Highway 42 Revitalization Area. There were <br />numerous comments and concerns relayed at the Planning Commission <br />meeting regarding the proposed new guidelines such as density issues, <br />compatibility with downtown, height limits and development incentives. <br />Staff reported that the matter was continued to the March Planning <br />Commission meetin~l. <br />5. Urban Renewal Plan Update -It was reported that the Urban Renewal <br />Plan drafting effort is on hold as there has been some discussion at the <br />City Council as to whether the Comprehensive Plan will be revised. The <br />Urban Renewal Plan must be consistent with the Comprehensive Plan, <br />thus the delay. Commission members requested information from Ann <br />Ricker with Leland Consulting Group, as to the City's options on moving <br />forward. Ann Ricker will be invited to the next LRC meeting to discuss <br />future opportunities. The Commission also requested a schedule from <br />staff of timelines for the conditions survey, urban renewal plan and the <br />comprehensive plan amendment for a street realignment. Staff will <br />present this information at the February LRC meeting. There was also <br />discussion about the LRC meeting with the Planning Commission and <br />having a Planning Commission liaison for the LRC. Staff will pursue <br />such initiatives and report back to the LRC. <br />6. Next Meeting Items -- 1) Ann Ricker, Leland Consulting Group - <br />Discussion of Urban Renewal Plan 2) Draft Schedule of Events 3) <br />Planning Department Update on Mixed Use Zoning and Design <br />Guidelines for the Hi,ghway 42 Area 4) Next Meeting Items; and 5) Next <br />Meeting Date <br />7. Next Meeting Date - The next regularly scheduled meeting is to be held <br />on February 16, 20016. <br /> <br />Commissioners' Comments <br />Nothing to report. <br /> <br />Adjourn - The meeting was adjourned at 8:45 AM. <br />
