<br />February 22, 2005 Study Session <br /> <br />Julie Boyd agreed to present a draft survey to City Council at an upcoming meeting. <br /> <br />City Manager Items <br />City Manager Bill Simmons reminded Council of the joint meeting with the Louisville Fire <br />Protection District on Wednesday, February 23, at 7 pm at Station 2, which will include a <br />tour of the building. <br /> <br />A draft of future City Council agenda items was distributed for review. Council member <br />Jay Keany questioned whether the contract for Landscape Maintenance Services should <br />be renewed to the low bidder from last year as they damaged a tremendous amount of <br />flora & fauna throughout the City. <br /> <br />Council members Don Brown and Michele Van Pelt agreed. They stated that the <br />Horticulture and Forestry Advisory Board members have expressed their concerns with <br />the current landscape contractor as well. <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk suggested rescheduling the Public Service Company franchise renewal to a <br />first reading on 3/17/05 and a public hearing on 4/5/05 due to the amount of time that the <br />Hoyle Zoning Ordinance public hearing and Library Bid Award may require on 3/17/05. <br /> <br />The meeting was adjourned at 9:25 p.m. <br /> <br />Belinda Goebel <br />Administrative Assistant <br /> <br />6 <br />
