<br />RESOLUTION NO. 28 <br />SERIES 1995 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ISSUING AN ORDER EXTENDING THE <br />TIME FOR REVIEW OF CABLE RATES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, 47 CFR S76.933 establishes a 30 day review period for <br />a basic service tier and associated equipment costs rate filing; <br />provided, however, that the franchising authority may toll this 30 <br />day deadline for an additional 90 days by issuing a written order <br />within 30 days of the rate submission explaining that it needs <br />additional time to review the rates; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Louisville is the <br />franchising authority for the City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Scripps Howard Cable Company submitted a form for <br />cable rate approval to the City of Louisville on or about May 1, <br />1995; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Louisville needs additional time to <br />review the proposed cable rates and to hold a public hearing on the <br />rates for comments by interested parties. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br /> <br />Section 1. It is hereby ordered that the 30 day time <br />period within which the City of Louisville must review the cable <br />rates submitted by Scripps Howard Cable Company is extended for up <br />to 90 days, as permitted by federal regulations. <br /> <br />Section 2. A public hearing on the pending cable rates <br />submitted by Scripps Howard is hereby scheduled for Tuesday, <br />June 20, 1995 at 7:00 p.m., Louisville City Hall, City Council <br />Chambers. <br /> <br />Section 3.
