RESOLUTION NO. 49 Series of 1994 WHEREAS, the City of Louisville, in the County of Boulder and State of Colorado (the "City"), is a municipal corporation duly organized and existing under laws of the State of Colorado; and WHEREAS, the members of the City Council of the City (the "Council") have been duly elected and qualified; and WHEREAS, the Council is of the opinion that the City should issue bonds for the purposes stated in this resolution; and WHEREAS, Article X, Section 20 ("Amendment 1 ") of the Constitution limits the ability of the City to issue bonds; and WHEREAS, Amendment 1 permits the eligible electors of the City to approve the issuance of bonds; and WHEREAS, November 8, 1994, is one of the election dates at which ballot issues may be submitted to the eligible electors of the City pursuant to Amendment 1; and WHEREAS, Boulder County (the "County") is conducting on November 8, 1994, a coordinated election pursuant to Section 1-7-116, C.R.S.; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Sections 1-1-102 and 31-10-102.7, C.R.S., the Council has elected to participate in the coordinated election on November 8, 1994, pursuant to the Uniform Election Code of 1992; and WHEREAS, the Council has heretofore determined it is necessary to submit to the electors of the City, at a special election to be held on November 8, 1994, the proposition of issuing bonds for the purposes described herein; and WHEREAS, it is necessary to set forth certain procedures concerning the conduct of the election. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, IN THE COUNTY OF BOULDER, STATE OF COLORADO:
