Louisville City Council Meeting <br />July 17, 2001 <br />Page 5 <br /> <br />City Attorney Sam Light read Resolution No. 30, Series 2001. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1362, SERIES 2001 - AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AN <br />ANNEXATION, KNOWN AS THE MAURER ANNEXATION, TO THE CITY OF <br />LOUISVILLE, COLORADO - 1sT READING - PUBLIC HEARING - (advertised <br />Daily Camera May 26, June 2, 9 and 16, 2001) continued from 7/3/01 <br /> <br />Davidson called for City Attorney introduction. <br /> <br />City Attorney Sam Light read Ordinance No. 1362, Series 2001. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1363, SERIES 2001 - AN ORDINANCE ZONING PROPERTY <br />ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE AND KNOWN AS THE MAURER <br />ANNEXATION - 1sx READING - PUBLIC HEARING (advertised Daily Camera <br />May 26, June 2, 9 and 16, 2001) - continued form 7/3/01) <br /> <br />Davidson called for City Attorney introduction. <br /> <br />City Attorney Sam Light read Ordinance No. 1363, Series 2001. <br /> <br />Davidson stated that Resolution No. 30, Ordinances 1362 and 1363, Series 2001, <br />regarding the Maurer Annexation and Zoning would be discussed together. <br /> <br />Davidson opened the public hearing. <br /> <br />Brown stated that he did not attend the earlier public hearing, however with his <br />knowledge of the request, stated he would participate in the annexation discussion, but <br />refrain from participating in the zoning discussions. <br /> <br />Davidson stated that at the last meeting, Council directed the City Attorney to write a <br />resolution to deny the eligibility of the Maurer Annexation, however the applicant has <br />relocated the driveway access. He suggested proceeding with the public hearing on the <br />remaining issues. <br /> <br />Davidson called for Applicant presentation. <br /> <br />John R. Mehaffy, Martin & Mehaffy, LLC, 1655 Walnut Street, Boulder, CO, Attorney <br />representing the applicants, reviewed that the City Council adopted the Resolution <br />finding Substantial Compliance and the Open Space Advisory Board determined that <br />crossing the open space trail is not a safety issue, if certain conditions were met. He noted <br />that the Planning Commission recommended by resolution the most restrictive residential <br />zoning.
