City Council <br />Study Session Summary <br />November 13, 2012 <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />authority structure, the history of the LRC, basics of the Urban Renewal Law, and <br />the LRC agreements with the City and Boulder County. <br />Update /Discussion — Revitalization Commission Application Process <br />Economic Development Director Aaron DeJong discussed the draft application <br />for urban renewal assistance provided in the packet. The criteria and objectives <br />for granting of urban renewal revenues /increment were discussed in detail. The <br />City Council is required to review and ultimately approve, if so desired, any <br />redevelopment agreements recommended by the LRC. <br />City Manager's Report <br />The advance agenda was distributed. <br />Discussion Items for Next Study Session on December 11, 2012 and <br />Identification of Future Agenda Items — There was a desire to have a future <br />study session item on Boards and Commissions and the possibility of where park <br />advocacy would fit into a current and /or new Board structure. <br />Adjourn - The meeting adjourned at 8:53 PM. <br />Submitted by Heather Balser <br />11/17/12 <br />
