<br />RESOLUTION NO. 38, SERIES 1994 <br /> <br />A Resolution designating Lake Park as a handicap and youth fishing area. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Lake Park has been dredged, enlarged, deepened; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Lake Park is the site for the city's annual fishing derby; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a handicap accessible fishing dock has been added to Lake park; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Division of Wildlife provides fish stocking for Lake Park; and <br /> <br />, <br />WHEREAS, by its size and location, Lake Park could serve as an excellent location for angler <br />education programs; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Lake Park is eligible for Fishing for Fun Grants; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, though the trail connections that have occurred throughout Louisville, Lake Park <br />is easily accessible by bicycle; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Louisville does not have a designated fishing area for handicap and <br />youth. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved that the Mayor and City Council of the City of Louisville, <br />Colorado do hereby declare Lake Park as a handicap and youth fishing area in compliance with <br />Colorado Division of Wildlife guidelines. <br /> <br />This Sth day of July, 1994. <br /> <br />-/ (1)>l D~ <br /> <br />T om Davidson, Mayor <br /> <br />
