<br />RESOLUTION NO.8 <br />SERIES 1994 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ISSUING AN ORDER EXTENDING THE <br />TIME FOR REVIEW OF EXISTING CABLE RATES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, 47 CFR 976.933 provides that after a cable operator has submitted for review <br />its existing rates for the basic service tier and associated equipment costs, or a proposed increase <br />in these rates, the existing rates will remain in effect or the proposed rates will become effective <br />after 30 days from the date of submission; provided, however, that the franchising authority may <br />toll this 30 day deadline for an additional 90 days by issuing a written order within 30 days of <br />the rate submission explaining that it needs additional time to review the rates; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Louisville is the franchising authority for the <br />City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Scripps Howard Cable Company submitted a form for cable rate approval <br />to the City of Louisville dated January 15, 1994; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Louisville needs additional time to review the proposed cable <br />rates and to hold a public hearing on the rates for comments by interested parties. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CIlY COUNCIL OF THE CIlY OF <br />LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br /> <br />Section 1.
