City Council Finance Committee Meeting Minutes 09/17/12 Page 2 of 3 Jim Manire, BLX Group, City Financial Advisor, presented information on a possible refunding of the City’s 2003 Water Revenue Bonds/CWRPDA Loan. The summary of refunding analysis and other information can be located in the packet of the November 19, 2012 Finance Committee Meeting. NON-PROFIT FUNDING REQUESTS FOR 2013 The Finance Director presented a summary of the non-profit grant requests for 2013. Each Finance Committee Member was given a binder containing copies of all requests. The Committee intends to make final recommendations at the December meeting. The summary of requests and the corresponding narrative can be located in the packet of the November 19, 2012 Finance Committee Meeting. Copies of all requests are on file in the Finance Department. SALES TAX REPORTS FOR THE MONTH ENDED SEPTEMBER 30, 2012 The Finance Director presented the monthly and quarterly sales tax reports for the period ended September 30, 2012. The reports and the corresponding narrative can be located in the packet of the November 19, 2012 Finance Committee Meeting. PRESENTATION OF TAX GUIDE The Finance Director presented examples of the online Tax Guide developed by the Tax Manager. The Table of contents and several examples of the publications within the Guide can be located in the packet of the November 19, 2012 Finance Committee Meeting. The entire Guide in now available on the City’s Web site. LIST OF BILLS The Committee was provided a List of Bills scheduled for approval at the November 20, 2012 Council Meeting. No additional information was requested.
