Planning Commission <br />Meeting Minutes <br />September 13, 2012 <br />Page 6 of 7 <br />Lipton discussed a potential drainage concern on the north facingareas of the tunnel, <br />especially with the freeze and thaw effects in the winter. <br />Russ stated the BNSF is working with the City in the design of the underpass. <br />Lipton advised staff to not skimp on lighting for safety reasons. <br />Pritchard also stated there should be an emergency phone available. <br />Planning Commission Comments: <br />Lipton asked what project is happening at the corner of Dillon and McCaslin. <br />Russ explained a west bound left turn lane is being added. When the project is <br />completed there will be two dedicated left turn lanes from west bound Dillon onto <br />McCaslin. <br />Lipton inquired about an entry sign for Louisville. <br />Russ stated the signage is planned to be a part of DDI across the US 36 bridge on <br />McCaslin. <br />Staff Comments <br />Discussion regarding Planning Commission meetings and <br />Comprehensive Plan adoption schedule. <br />th <br />Russ reviewed the agenda items for the October 25Overflow Planning Commission <br />meeting. He asked if the Commission would consider starting the meeting at 5:30 PM <br />instead of the regular 6:30 PM.
