City Council <br /> Meeting Minutes <br /> January 8, 2013 <br /> Page 15 of 16 <br /> APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO A FINAL SUBDIVISION PLAT AND FINAL <br /> PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT TO ALLOW FOR STEEL RANCH MARKETPLACE <br /> — A COMMERCIAL/RETAIL DEVELOPMENT (applicant requests a continuance to <br /> 2/5/13) <br /> Mayor Muckle requested a staff presentation. <br /> Planning Director Russ explained the applicant has requested a continuance to <br /> February 5, 2013 because they are still in negotiations with the prospective buyer of the <br /> building on this lot. <br /> MOTION: Mayor Muckle moved to continue the approval of an amendment to a final <br /> Subdivision Plat and Final Planned Unit Develop to February 5, 2013, seconded by <br /> Mayor Pro Tem Dalton. All were in favor. Absent: Council member Yarnell. <br /> DISTRIBUTION OF 2013 OPEN GOVERNMENT PAMPHLET <br /> Mayor Muckle requested a staff presentation. <br /> City Manager Fleming stated Section 4-16 (b) of the Home Rule Charter requires the <br /> City to publish and update a pamphlet or other summary of Articles 4 and 5 of this <br /> Charter, and other laws relating to citizen participation in municipal government. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br /> City Attorney Light reported on a newspaper article, which indicated Xcel Energy has <br /> softened its stance on banners on light poles. City Manager Fleming was pleased to <br /> see the article included a comment from an Xcel Energy representative. <br /> COUNCIL COMMENTS, COMMITTEE REPORTS, AND IDENTIFICATION OF <br /> FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS <br /> Council member Keany encouraged the City Manager and staff to complete the <br /> negotiations with Mr. Caranci as soon as possible. <br /> ADJOURN <br /> MOTION: Council member Jasiak moved for adjournment, seconded by Mayor Pro Tem <br /> Dalton. All were in favor. Absent: Council member Yarnell. The meeting was <br /> adjourned at 9:50 p.m. , I/ Ltiff/L- <br /> Robert VISA f P. Muckle, Mayor <br />
