Staff replied at this time our software doesn’t have <br />the capability to separate the two figures, but it is part of the RFP <br />for the new software. Gary Mancuso and Robert Van Pelt <br />mentioned that Boulder does an audit after every project is <br />completed. The Board feels the valuation should focus more on <br />the life safety aspect of the job and inspections, instead of <br />aspects of the job not inspected including flooring, cabinets and <br />counter tops. Director Russ said this is something staff can look <br />into and may have to be discussed with City Council. <br />III. Plan Review <br /> Gary Mancuso asked if Ken Swanson holds regular office hours. <br />Ken Swanson replied since he is contracted through Colorado <br />Code Consultants, he has other jurisdictions he covers in <br />addition to Louisville, he does not hold regular hours with the <br />City, but is here almost every day. Gary Mancuso asked if it is <br />possible to do more plan review over the counter. Staff <br />responded it is something they are looking into. Ken Swanson <br />said from a plan reviewer’s point of view, he likes to look at the <br />plans to verify that all of the codes are correct and the correct <br />notes are placed on the plans. <br />UPDATE <br />Other Projects of Interest <br />Pearl Izumi <br /> Currently has an over-lot grading permit and has started to move dirt. <br />o <br />They are also splitting the permits into a foundation permit and the rest <br />of the building on separate permits. <br /> Steel Ranch <br /> Ryland will have their homes completed in March 2013. <br />o <br />Steel Ranch South <br /> Confluence Builders currently have an over-lot grading permit and once <br />o <br />Planning has received their Letter of Credit and Public Works has <br />approved their civil drawings, Building Safety can release the three <br />apartment buildings which have completed the review process. <br /> ermit Applications New P <br /> Staff has updated the permit application forms and there are now three <br />o <br />application forms instead of two.The Commercial/Industrial Permit will <br />be used for tenant finishes, new buildings, additions and demolitions. <br />The Residential Permit will be used for new buildings, scrape offs, <br />additions, remodels and demolitions. The newest permit, Miscellaneous <br />Permit, will be used for the smaller jobs including: fences, decks, <br />accessory structures, water heaters, furnaces, air conditioners and <br />other smaller jobs. <br />
