CityCouncil <br />WaterCommittee <br />-Draft -Meeting Minutes <br />th <br />Friday, June 8, 2012 <br />nd <br />Council Chambers, City Hall, 2Floor <br />7:30-9:00 am(Front doors will be unlocked at 7:15 am) <br />I.Call to Order <br /> – Hank Daltoncalled the meeting to order at 7:38 am. <br />II.Roll Call <br />was taken and the following members were present: <br />Mr. DaltonandMr. Muckle <br />City Council: <br />- Ms. Loo <br />Absent: <br />Mr. Fleming, Mr. Kowar and Mr. Mathes. <br />Staff Present: <br />III. <br />Approval of Agenda:Agenda approved. <br />IV.Approval of the Minutes:TheMay 11, 2012meetingminutes wereapproved as <br />written. <br />V.PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA: <br />1) Rick Brew with RMCS LLC –commented on Water Tap fees and equity for <br />Multi-family development. <br />VI.Update – Water Resources <br />Water Supply & Demand Analysis –Staff presented an updated summary of the <br />outlook for the water year. Additional graphs were passed around showing to date <br />demands and stream flows. Runoff is appearing to be worse than 2002 and if it <br />stays warm and dry the implementation of Stage 2 under the drought plan should <br />be considered. Council will be kept informed and public education will be <br />promoted. <br />VII.
