Planning Commission <br />Meeting Minutes <br />May 10, 2012 <br />Page 7 of 12 <br /> <br />The Landscape Plan has been reviewed by staff. The site is not intended to <br /> <br /> <br />be all green lawn. There is use of native, dryland trees and shrubs. The goal <br />is to relate the site to the adjacent open space. <br />Lipton asked for more information regarding the interior roadways. <br />Russ replied they need the City Standard. <br />Russell asked how the lighting on/off would be handled. <br />Boothby stated there are options available. The current fixture requires about 30- <br />minutes to warm-up. They could be manual or auto operation and only on when in <br />use. <br />Brauneis stated his appreciation of their desire to continue working with staff. <br />Boothby stated the lighting will probably be a mix of types; however it will be the right <br />lighting for the usage. <br />Boothby briefly discussed a relationship he has recently had develop with Colorado <br />University. <br />Lipton recused himself based on the details provided by Boothby of the relationship <br />with CU. Lipton is employed by CU and he sees that as a conflict of interest with the <br />new information provided. Lipton left the room and Pritchard chaired the remainder of <br />the project discussion. <br />Summary Comments and Request from Staff and Applicant: <br />Staff had no comments. <br />Boothby thanked the Planning Staff for their professional help in the project. <br />Tengler asked what level of membership would provide a break even cost to the <br />applicant. He also asked about membership cost. <br />Boothby stated the break even membership would be approximately 260. <br />Membership cost will be: Individual, $165/month; Couple, $220/month and Family, <br />$285/month. <br />Public Comment: <br />None heard. <br />Closed Public Hearing – Planning Commission Discussion: <br />Tengler stated this is a great project, there will be an overflow economic benefit to the <br />community. He would like to see some type of special programs for local groups such <br />as youth groups. <br />Moline, Russell and Pritchard stated their support of the project. <br />Brauneis also stated his support and thanked them for their willingness to address <br />the outdoor lighting. <br />Roll Call Vote: <br />Tengler moved and Brauneis seconded a motion to approve Resolution No. 7, Series <br />2012 a resolution recommending approval of a final subdivision plat and final planned <br />th <br />unit development (PUD) plan for 96 Street and Dillon, a commercial subdivision of <br /> <br />
