Planning Commission <br />Meeting Minutes <br />October 25, 2012 <br />Page 3 of 13 <br /> <br />Staff recommends approval of Resolution No. 20, Series 2012, a resolution <br />recommending approval of an ordinance repealing and reenacting with amendments <br />Chapter 17.56 of the Louisville Municipal Code concerning floodplain zoning. <br />Commission Questions of Staff <br />Moline asked and Robinson provided clarification of the following: <br />1) What is meant by ‘fill’? <br />2) Why does it say “0.00”? <br />O’Connell asked and Robinson provided clarification on the way definitions <br />referenced other definitions in the code. <br />Lipton asked why the Board of Adjustment (BOA) would be involved in the floodplain <br />process and does the city have any floodways? <br />Russ stated there are floodways along the Coal Creek but there are no structures in <br />the floodway.
