Four <br /> regular training sessions were held during the year. A total of 101 sellers and servers <br /> from licensed establishments attended the training sessions, with 78 from Louisville <br /> businesses. The Police Department also provided special training for the Street Faire <br /> servers and for the employees of Ralphie's. <br /> ACTION ITEMS <br /> The Authority held ten regularly scheduled meetings in 2012. <br /> In 2012, the Authority renewed 52 liquor licenses and granted local renewal approval for <br /> two Medical Marijuana Centers. <br /> The Authority approved two new Hotel and Restaurant liquor licenses in 2012. They <br /> approved the transfer of one liquor license. In addition, forty-five Special Events <br /> Permits were issued to nine non-profit organizations. The Authority considered other <br /> changes to licenses as they occurred. The Authority continues to work with the <br /> Downtown Business Association to provide for alcohol service on the downtown street <br /> patios. <br /> The breakdown for the 55 liquor licenses held in the City of Louisville is as <br /> follows: <br /> Hotel & Restaurant 34 <br /> Beer & Wine 3 <br /> 3.2% Beer (Off Premises) 4 <br /> Retail Liquor Store 6 <br /> Tavern 6 <br /> Club 2 <br /> 2 <br />
