RESOLUTION NO.6 <br /> SERIES 2013 <br /> A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE DONATION OF AND QUIT CLAIM DEED FOR A <br /> REMNANT PARCEL LOCATED IN SECTION 8,TOWNSHIP 1 SOUTH,RANGE 69 <br /> WEST OF THE 6TH P.M. AND GENERALLY IDENTIFIED AS 0 HARPER STREET IN <br /> LOUISVILLE <br /> WHEREAS,certain real property, legally described on the Quit Claim Deed accompanying <br /> this Resolution and generally identified as 0 Harper Street, Louisville, Colorado, Assessor's Parcel <br /> Number 157508100010(the"Property") is an approximately 2,117 square foot parcel of vacant <br /> land; and <br /> WHEREAS,the current owner of the Property,the Mary Juanita Claman Revocable Living <br /> Trust, desires to donate the Property to the City of Louisville; and <br /> WHEREAS,the owner has tendered a Quit Claim Deed to the City conveying the Property; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS,the City Council desires to accept such donation and conveyance of the <br /> Property; <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF LOUISVILLE,COLORADO: <br /> Section 1. Ownership in fee simple of the Property is hereby approved and accepted by <br /> the City of Louisville. <br /> Section 2. The City Council finds and determines that the Property is not being <br /> acquired for any park, open space or governmental purpose, but as a general asset of the City and <br /> for potential use as right-of-way, and that all or portions of the Property, and any interests, licenses, <br /> rights or privileges therein, may be sold, leased,conveyed or disposed of, in whole or part,as <br /> determined by subsequent action of City Council, without necessity of election, pursuant to the <br /> home rule charter of the City. <br /> Section 3. The Quit Claim Deed from the Mary Juanita Claman Revocable Living <br /> Trust, Grantor, to the City of Louisville, Grantee, conveying the Property, a copy of which <br /> accompanies this Resolution, is hereby accepted by the City of Louisville, Colorado. <br /> Section 4. The Mayor, City Manager and City Staff are authorized to execute all <br /> documents and to do all things necessary on behalf of the City to effect the City's ownership of the <br /> Property. <br /> Resolution No.6,Series 2013 <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br />
