Work. <br /> b. prepare final design(Construction Plans)in accord with the requirements of <br /> the latest edition of the American Association of State Highway <br /> Transportation Officials (AASHTO) manual or other standard, such as the <br /> Uniform Building Code, as approved by CDOT. <br /> c. prepare special provisions and estimates in accord with the State's Roadway <br /> and Bridge Design Manuals and Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge <br /> Construction. <br /> d. include details of any required detours in the Plans, in order to prevent any <br /> interference of the construction work and to protect the traveling public. <br /> e. stamp the Plans produced by a Colorado Registered Professional Engineer. <br /> f. provide final assembly of Plans and contract documents. <br /> g. be responsible for the Plans being accurate and complete. <br /> h. CDOT shall consult with the Local Agency throughout the preparation of the <br /> Plans and submit to the Local Agency for its review the proposed Plans prior <br /> to CDOT's acceptance of Release for Construction Plans The Local Agency <br /> must provide comments on the proposed Plans within 10 working days after <br /> the proposed final Plans are referred to it. CDOT will require the <br /> Concessionaire to address all issues identified by the Local Agency provided <br /> those issues are not in conformance with the Contract Documents. <br /> i. CDOT will conduct a final walk through of the Diverging Diamond <br /> Interchange with the Local Agency prior to final acceptance. CDOT will <br /> require the Concessionaire to address all issues identified by the Local <br /> Agency as a result of such final walk through prior to CDOT's acceptance of <br /> the Diverging Diamond Interchange provided such issues are consistent with <br /> the requirements of the Plans.. <br /> i. make no further changes in the Plans following the award of the construction <br /> contract except by agreement in writing between the Parties. The Plans shall <br /> be considered final when approved and accepted by the Parties hereto, and <br /> -when final they shall be deemed incorporated herein. <br /> B. Construction [if applicable] <br /> 1. If the Work includes construction, the responsible party shall perform the <br /> construction in accordance with the approved design plans and/or administer the <br /> construction all in accord with the Scope of Work(Exhibit A). Such administration <br /> shall include project inspection and testing; approving sources of materials; <br /> performing required plant and shop inspections;documentation of contract payments, <br /> testing and inspection activities; preparing and approving pay estimates; preparing, <br /> approving and securing the funding for contract modification orders and minor <br /> contract revisions; processing contractor claims; construction supervision; and <br /> meeting the Quality Control requirements of the FHWA/CDOT Stewardship <br /> Agreement, as described in the Scope of Work. <br /> 2.
