City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />October 16, 2007 <br />Page 6 of 15 <br />• The budget includes an additional $137,000 (10% of 2007 costs) to cover <br />the increase in employee health insurance premiums and to provide <br />incentives for participation in high-deductible plans and wellness activities <br />intended to promote employee health and reduce future health care costs <br />that both the City and employees pay. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br />None. <br />COUNCIL COMMENT: <br />Mayor Bro Tem Brown asked what was budgeted for the Street Faire. Assistant <br />City Manager Balser stated the amount budgeted is the same as last year. <br />Council Member Yarnell askE~d if the Facilities Manager would include the <br />maintenance of the Museum. City Manager Fleming confirmed it would. <br />Council Member Muckle inquired about the Conservation Trust Fund and asked <br />for the long range forecast if the tax sunsets. City Manager Fleming responded <br />he would report on that issues at the next meeting. <br />Mayor Sisk noted the Finance Committee reviewed the tax question at their last <br />meeting. He supported increasing the Museum Coordinator's hours, new <br />positions coming on board throughout the year and a Facilities Manager. <br />MOTION: Council Member PVluckle moved to set a public hearing for 2008 <br />Proposed Budget for October 30, 2007, seconded by Council Member Yarnell. <br />All in favor. <br />RESOLUTION No. 57, SERIES 2007 - A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN <br />AMENDMENT TO THE TAKODA VILLAGE GENERAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN, <br />THE TAKODA VILLAGE PRELIMINARY SUBDIVISION PLAT AND A <br />PRELIMINARY PUD DEVELOPMENT PLAN <br />Planning Director Wood reviewed Resolution No. 57, Series 2007 and requested <br />a City Council motion to accept the materials contained in the City Council <br />packet, on this agenda item, into the record of the meeting. <br />MOTION: Council Member IVluckle moved the requested documents contained <br />in the Council packet relativE: to the item, be entered into the record of the <br />meeting. Council Member Clabots seconded the motion. All in favor. <br />Planning Director Wood explained the applicant, RMCS, LLC, represented by <br />Rick Brew, David Waldner aind Justin McClure had submitted preliminary <br />
