<br />Historic Preservation Commission <br />Meeting Minutes <br />July18, 2007 <br />Page 2 of 2 <br /> <br />Next Commission Project <br />Koertje shared some information about the Main Street Program. Members would like to <br />get additional information about the program to see how it might work for Louisville. <br />Koertje will gather additional information for the August meeting. Koertje will ask if a <br />representative of the Colorado Community Revitalization Association will come speak to <br />the group. <br /> <br />Muckle reported that she is continuing to work on the grain elevator. She is trying to <br />speak with the owners about possible uses and is trying to reach the son of one of the <br />owners for additional conversations. She noted that the Cultural Council may <br />interested in preserving the site for an Arts Center. Muckle will attend the n <br />Boulder meeting to see if there is any help available there. <br /> <br /> <br />Demolition Request Review - None <br /> <br /> <br />Planning Department Referrals - None <br /> <br />Updates: <br />1932 Water Treatment Plant - Muth reported that theiublic Works Department will give <br />City Council options for the plant that include leaving if?' is, renovating the exterior only, <br />and full renovation of the building for use as meeting sp . No decision is expected <br />until the fall at the earliest. <br /> <br />Mine Marker Design - Muth asked which <br />Marker program with members of the Hist <br />volunteered. <br /> <br /> <br />bers might be willing to work on a Mine <br />Commission. Koertje and Tofte <br /> <br />Items from Staff: <br />Final Incentives Mailing - The Zo g incentives flyer is set to be mailed to all of Old <br />Town on the 19th. <br /> <br /> <br />2008 Budget Requests - Muth asked what the Commission would like to request for <br />next year's project fu g. Members agreed on $3000. <br /> <br />Fall Meeting Dates - Mu oted that she will be on maternity leave for October- <br />December. A there is little staff available to take over the Commission in her absence, <br />she asked i om mission would be willing to reschedule their fall meetings to one <br />meeting fo ber/October on September 26 and one meeting for <br />November/D ber on December 5. Members were agreeable to the changes. <br /> <br />CLG Annual Report - Muth reported that the 2006-2007 Annual CLG report is due <br />August 1. Once it is complete Muth will share copies with the members. <br /> <br />Items from Commission Members - Koertje asked when the next County Preservation <br />Forum will be held. Muth will try to find out. <br /> <br />Discussion Items for Next Meeting - None. <br /> <br />Adjourn - Meeting adjourned at 8:50 PM. <br />
