Local Licensing Authority <br />Minutes <br />February 25, 2013 <br />Page 3of 4 <br />1-Regulation of recreational marijuana and the role the Local Licensing <br />Authority willplay. Rommelfanger added the Authority is willing and able to <br />serve in whatever capacity the Council sees fit. <br />2-Consideration ofapromotional program for artisanal beer, wine and <br />spirits with an eye toward driving economic activity within the City <br /> 3–What active role the Local Licensing Authority can play in keeping the <br />Street Faire the success it has been and continuing to contributeto the fabric of <br />the community. <br />Lipton wanted to add: <br />4-Keeping the Local Licensing Authority and the Police Department in a <br />positiverelationship with open communication. <br />Authority members directed Secretary Hanson to compile the ideas and pass on <br />for Council consideration. <br /> B.Modification of Premises –Clover Clan LLC d/b/a Old Louisville <br /> Inn –Hotel and Restaurant Liquor License –740 Front St. <br /> C.Modification of Premises –Hei Han Enterprises, Inc. d/b/a <br /> Henry’s Bar & Grill –Tavern Liquor License –935 Pine Street <br />Chairperson Rommelfanger asked Secretary Hanson to explain these items. <br />Hanson stated a state investigator discovered the basement areas ofthese <br />establishments were not included in their diagrams for their licensed <br />premises and needed to be added. She explained the diagrams simply <br />showed the footprint of the basement area and added it to the licensed <br />premises. Carlson moved the items formerly on the Consent Agenda as L <br />and M be approved. Machado seconded. All in favor. Both items approved. <br />Police Department Reports <br />No reports <br />Secretary’s Report <br />Hanson congratulated Matthew Machado on his appointment as a Regular <br />Member of the Authority. The Authority will continue without an associate <br />member until interviews are conducted in the fall <br />Authority Attorney’s Report <br />No Authority Attorney present. <br />Authority Comment <br /> <br />
