<br />A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 1993 BUDGET BY INCREASING REVENUES,
<br />APPROPRIATIONS, AND RESERVES IN THE GENERAL, CONSERVATION TRUST, AND
<br />CAPITAL PROJECTS FUNDS FOR THE CITY OF lOUISVillE, COLORADO
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, a need exists for appropriating additional sums of money in the General,
<br />Conservation Trust, and Capital Projects Funds to defray expenses in excess of
<br />amounts budgeted, and;
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the City has received unanticipated revenue not assured at the time of the
<br />adoption of the budget, from sources other than the City's local property tax mill levy,
<br />in the General, Conservation Trust, and Capital Projects Funds, and;
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, in accordance with the Amendment ("Amendment One") adding Article
<br />X, Section 20 to the Colorado Constitution approved by the voters on November 3,
<br />1992, the City wishes to increase reserves in the various City funds for the purposes
<br />of such funds, which reserves are different from the so-called "emergency reserves"
<br />described in paragraph (5) of Amendment One.
<br />
<br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCil OF THE CITY OF
<br />lOUISVillE, COLORADO;

<br />Section 1. That the 1993 General Fund Revenues are hereby increased from
<br />$6,138,670 to $6,224,555 and the 1993 General Fund Appropriations are hereby
<br />increased from $6,138,670 to $6,224,555 as provided in Appendix A, attached
<br />hereto and incorporated herein.
<br />
<br />Section 2. That the 1993 Conservation Fund Revenues are hereby increased from
<br />$150,000 to $164,800 and the 1993 Conservation Fund Appropriations are hereby
<br />increased from $150,000 to $164,800 as provided in Appendix S, attached hereto
<br />and incorporated herein.

<br />Section 3. That the 1993 Capital Projects Fund Revenues are hereby increased from
<br />$984,020 to $7,300,520 and the 1993 Capital Projects Fund Appropriations are
<br />hereby increased from $984,020 to $7,300,520 as provided in Appendix~, attached
<br />hereto and incorporated herein.

<br />Section 4. That reserves are hereby increased in the City's General, Conservation
<br />Trust, and Capital Projects Funds in the amounts described in Appendices A through
<br />C, attached hereto and incorporated herein for the purposes of such funds. Nothing
<br />herein is intended to limit the City's authority to transfer reserves, in whole or in part,
<br />by appropriate future action.
