RESOLUTION NO. 32 SERIES 1993 A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE BOULDER REGIONAL EMERGENCY TELEPHONE SERVICE AUTHORITY TO HOLD A PUBLIC MEETING ON ITS PROPOSED 1994 BUDGET. WHEREAS, in 1987, the city of Louisville entered into an Intergovernmental Agreement with other governmental entities in Boulder County concerning the implementation of an "E911" "Emergency Telephone Service"; and WHEREAS, the Boulder Regional Telephone Service Authority Board, which implements the Intergovernmental Agreement, has proposed a budget for 1994 which will require an increase in the monthly telephone surcharge from the current $.38 to $.50; and WHEREAS, pursuant to the Intergovernmental Agreement, if the City of Louisville is dissatisfied with the proposed 1994 budget, it must, no later than August 1, 1993, by resolution, direct the Boulder Regional Telephone Service Authority Board to hold a public meeting to consider specific modifications. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: 1. Pursuant to the Intergovernmental Agreement concerning the implementation of an "E911" "Emergency Telephone Service", Article V.A., the City Council of the City of Louisville hereby directs the Boulder Regional Telephone Service Authority Board ("Board") to hold a public meeting no later than August 20, 1993, with notice published as provided in the Intergovernmental Agreement, to consider specific modifications to the proposed 1994 budget. 2. The specific modifications to the proposed 1994 budget which should be considered by the Board are those modifications necessary to prevent any increase in the current monthly telephone surcharge of $.38. , 1993.
