Mayor Muckle, City Manager Fleming and Economic <br />Development Director DeJong attended the Conference and met with the large retailers <br />who have stores in Louisville; King Soopers, Lowe's, Home Depot and Wal -Mart. They <br />discussed the vacant Sam's Club with Wal -Mart. He felt the trip was very productive. <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br />Deputy City Manager Balser requested Public Works Director Kowar review Consent <br />Agenda Item 5D — Award Bid for 2013 Street Resurfacing project. Public Works <br />Director Kowar reviewed slides, which illustrated the Performances of the Streets, the <br />Pavement System Grading process and the Proposed 5 -Year Resurfacing Plan. <br />Deputy City Manager Balser stated the City received complaints about broken sprinklers <br />spraying water onto streets. She noted the City has not turned on their sprinklers yet, <br />but will work with private businesses to correct their sprinkler system problems. <br />REGULAR BUSINESS <br />APPROVAL OF RESOLUTION No 26, SERIES 2013 — A RESOLUTION APPROVING <br />AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF LAFAYETTE FOR A <br />LIFT STATION EMERGENCY OVERFLOW CONNECTION <br />Mayor Pro Tem Dalton addressed the provisions of the Intergovernmental Agreement <br />and voiced his concern over future homeowners being liable for long term maintenance <br />of the lift station. He requested this item be continued in order to notify the property <br />owners and the Home Owners Association of this proposal. <br />City Attorney Light stated providing information to the residents will not change the <br />language in the IGA, but continuing the resolution will allow notice to be provided to the <br />North End property owners and Home Owners Association. <br />MOTION: Mayor Pro Tem Dalton moved to continue Resolution No. 26, Series 2016 to <br />the June 4, 2013 meeting, seconded by Council member Sackett. All were in favor. <br />ORDINANCE No. 1631, SERIES 2013 — AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE <br />CONVEYANCE TO THE COLORADO DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION OF <br />PARCELS OF PROPERTY OWNED BY THE CITY THAT ARE REQUIRED FOR <br />PHASE II OF THE US36 MANAGED LANE /BUS RAPID TRANSIT PROJECT — 2nd <br />Reading — Public Hearing <br />Mayor Muckle requested a City Attorney introduction. <br />City Attorney Light introduced Ordinance No. 1631, Series 2013. <br />
