Section 1. Amend Section 17.12.030, Use Group #17, of the Louisville Municipal <br />Code to read as follows: (words added are bold and underlined): <br />Section 2. Section 9.82.010 of Louisville Municipal Code is hereby amended to <br />read as follows: (words added are bold and underlined): <br />Sec. 9.82.010. Discharge of firearms. <br />A. It shall be unlawful for any person, except a law enforcement <br />officer in the performance of his duties, to fire or discharge within the <br />city a revolver or pistol of any description, or a shotgun or rifle which <br />may be used for the explosion of cartridges or shells, or any air gun, <br />gas- operated gun, or spring gun. <br />B. Subsection A of this section shall not apply to persons <br />discharging such weapons in defense of person or property, or to <br />persons discharging such weapons in an indoor shooting range <br />specifically approved by the city for such purposes. <br />Section 3. If any portion of this ordinance is held to be invalid for any reason <br />such decisions shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this ordinance <br />The City Council hereby declares that it would have passed this ordinance and each <br />part hereof irrespective of the fact that anyone part be declared invalid. <br />Section 4.
