<br />LONGMONT, COLORADO <br />DEFINITION: Mobile Retail Food Establishments: retail food establishment that reports to and operates <br />from a commissary and is readily moveable, is a motorized wheeled vehicle, or a towed wheeled vehicle <br />designed and equipped to serve food. <br /> <br />USE ALLOWANCE: <br />1. Residential – Not Allowed (all Categories) <br />2. Mixed Use – Allowed (all Categories, including ROW) <br />3. Business ‐ Allowed (all Categories, including ROW) <br />4. Downtown ‐ Allowed (all Categories, including ROW) <br />5. Industrial – Allowed (all Categories, including ROW) <br />STANDARDS / CRITERIA: <br />1. All mobile food vendor applications must be accompanied by a Boulder County Health <br />Department license or Weld Count y Health Department license; <br />2. Mobile retail food vending are allowed in all non‐residential zoning districts subject to 250 foot <br />separation requirement (500 feet in the CBD zoning district) from restaurants. <br />3. Mobile food vendors may vend on the public right of way, as long as the unit is parked legally (in <br />a legal parking spot); <br />4. Mobile vending on the public right of way must occur at the edge of the roadway and the patron <br />must purchase food from the sidewalk side of the road; <br />5. No separation requirements between trucks are recommended; <br /> <br />9
