Call to Order & Introductions: Chair Dan Mellish called the meeting to order at 7:06 PM. II. Roll Call: Commission Members Present: Dan Mellish, Gladys Levis‐Pilz, Andy Williams, Dave Ferguson, Paula Elrod Commission Members Absent: Pat Seader, Marilyn Hunt, Lynn Koglin, Anne Robinson City Representatives Present: Bridget Bacon, Museum Coordinator Beth Barrett, Director of Library & Museum Services City Representative Absent: Jay Keany, City Council Liaison Members of the Public Present: Debby Fahey III. Approval of Agenda: Members approved the agenda. IV. Public Comments on Items Not on the Agenda: None; Debby Fahey, a Museum volunteer, was introduced as an interested observer. V. Approval of Minutes: The minutes of the April 17, 2013 LHC meeting were approved. VI. Meeting as Advisory Board for the City of Louisville A. Report from the Director of Library and Museum Services: Beth Barrett reported on several items, including: 1. A 2014 Budget Amendment to give the Museum funding for doors for the main room of the Jordinelli House and for storage items so that the replica of historic Louisville can be opened to the public. 2. The Annual City Workplace Survey re: how employees view working for the City and their department. 3. A meeting with a student getting an MA in Library Science who will volunteer 15 hours a week for the Dept. of Library & Museum Services. She will look into grants to support photo digitization and capital improvement.
