City Council <br /> Study Session Summary <br /> May 28,2013 <br /> Page 2 of 2 <br /> Mayor Muckle suggested looking at the matrix and taking out everything we are <br /> already doing and everything that must be done in an effort to refine the list. <br /> Councilmember Sackett remarked that Council is working together better than <br /> ever and he looks forward to a successful budget process. <br /> Finance Director Watson said the Capital Improvement Project meetings are <br /> being held with Departments now, prior to the Budget Retreat. He will bring all <br /> requests to the Retreat and present requests and recommendations. <br /> Update/Discussion — Northwest Area Mobility Study <br /> Mayor Muckle and Deputy City Manager gave City Council an update on the <br /> Northwest Area Mobility Study. There has been on Technical meeting and a <br /> Policy Meeting was to take place the next day, June 29 with all the elected <br /> officials. The study is just getting underway. Staff will continue to update City <br /> Council on progress and when decisions are required to move forward. <br /> City Manager's Report: <br /> The City Manager reviewed the advanced agenda. Councilmember Jasiak <br /> requested a future study session on driveway access/removal during remodels. <br /> It was suggested we look at this when planning staff reviews the downtown <br /> design guidelines. Councilmembers requested the dates and timing of the Urban <br /> Land Institutes technical advisory meetings on the McCaslin Corridor.
