<br />RESOLUTION NO. 25 <br />SERIES 2005 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A GRANT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF <br />LOUISVILLE AND THE STATE BOARD OF THE GREAT OUTDOORS COLORADO <br />TRUST FUND FOR FUNDING OF THE COAL CREEK TRAIL SOUTH OF <br />COMMUNITY PARK <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Louisville supports the completion of the Coal Creek Trail south <br />of Community Park; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Louisville has received a grant from Great Outdoors Colorado to <br />fund the Coal Creek Trail south of Community Park, subject to the execution of a grant agreement. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO THAT: <br /> <br />1. The proposed Agreement between the City of Louisville and Great Outdoors <br />Colorado for funding of the Coal Creek Trail project south of Community Park is hereby approved <br />in essentially the same form as the copy of such Agreement accompanying this Resolution. <br /> <br />2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the attached Agreement on behalf of the <br />City Council of the City of Louisville, except that the Mayor is hereby granted the authority to <br />negotiate and approve such revisions to said Agreement as the Mayor determines are necessary or <br />desirable for the protection of the City, so long as the essential terms and conditions of the <br />Intergovernmental Agreement are not altered. <br /> <br />3. The City Council of the City of Louisville, Colorado hereby authorizes the <br />expenditure of funds necessary to meet the terms and obligations of the Grant Agreement and <br />application. <br /> <br />4.
